Haute Parure turns equestrian finery into a decorative circle. Virginie Jamin gathers buckles, bridles, bows and tassels into a composition that gives familiar riding accessories a new ornamental presence. The design invites the eye to move between the complete circular arrangement and its individual details. Mauve and golden beige, joined by multicolored accents, offer a nuanced interpretation of this celebration of the horse's adornments and Hermès' equestrian vocabulary.
Artist's Story:
Virginie Jamin is a French illustrator whose work includes children's books and numerous designs for Hermès. Her scarf creations range from animated figures to detailed interpretations of equestrian objects. Belles du Mexique, issued in 2007, is documented as her first Hermès scarf design. Her collaboration with the house also extends to tableware, including Tressages Équestres, developed with Benoît-Pierre Emery.
