Artist's Story: Geoff McFetridge (born 1971, Calgary) is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist and designer known for reductive, highly graphic imagery across painting, illustration, typography and film titles. He studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design and earned an MFA from CalArts; early in his career he art-directed the Beastie Boys’ Grand Royal and later founded Champion Graphics. His clients and collaborators span Apple, Patagonia, Vans—and Hermès—while institutions from AIGA (which awarded him its Medal in 2019) to film festivals have recognized his practice.
