Story about the Design:
“Kachinas” is Kermit Oliver’s intricate homage to the ceremonial kachina spirit figures and dance traditions, arranged as a vibrant procession with lightning-bolt borders, animal motifs and richly costumed dancers. The elongated Maxi Twilly layout turns these vignettes into a wearable frieze; in cobalt and green, the contrast frames the figures and the stepped motifs with striking clarity.

Artist's Story:
Kermit Oliver is Hermès’ first and only American scarf artist. A Texas-based painter known for meticulous, narrative-rich compositions, he created 17 designs for the house and remains one of its most collected collaborators.
