Henri d’Origny and Jacques Eudel each contributed a distinct equestrian design to this composition. D’Origny’s Éperon d’Or explores the decorative possibilities of riding equipment, while Eudel’s Couvertures et Tenues de Jour depicts horses dressed for different moments of their routine. Their motifs bring graphic structure and descriptive detail together in a shared expression of Hermès heritage.
